Ducted Air Conditioning

Often where several 'Split Systems' are being considered a quality Ducted System is often a very serious contender. Ducted Air Conditioning also has the unique advantage of almost all internal components being discreetly hidden within the ceiling cavity. It's hard to imagine a more 'invisible' and desirable climate control system!

Our intelligent 50 mm Polyester Supply Air Ducting  

• We use only 50mm Polyester insulation with an R1 insulation value in your home.  The polyester insulation is much healthier insulation to use than fibreglass. It does not support bacterial or fungal growth or give off an odour.  

• The reinforced metallised outer sleeve is fire rated. This type of outer sleeve is a lot tougher than standard plastic sleeves. It will not tear and does not break down like some competitors componentry does. Your system will stay efficient for at least 30 years.   
  
  You will not have to go through the expensive exercise of replacing this duct. It will last the full life of the air conditioner…guaranteed.

Our Intelligent 700 x 550 Return Grill with High Volume Filter  

• We use a 700mm x 500mm Return air grill that will fit in any hallway. The standard filter to this grill is usually too small for some applications so we replace it with our own V - Form filter to allow for low noise by reducing the air velocity through the filter.
  
  We can always fit the retunnian grill in a discrete place, so we do not have to locate the grill in a bedroom or living area. Nor do we cut into the cornice to make it fit which means you will always get the best possible finish.

• Your Refresh air conditioning design team incorporates more strategically placed larger ducting and grills. Equal air distribution in all areas of your home minimises any uncomfortable drafts or hot spots.

Our Intelligent Drainage System

• Our primary condensate drains run from the indoor unit to a down pipe and the secondary drain is run from a safety tray to a visible point. Your intelligent drainage system alerts you to a potential problem before it becomes an actual problem.
  
  
• The primary drain is also fully insulated to stop condensation form damaging your ceiling.

Multi-Split or Split Systems

Multi-split systems are ideal for air conditioning several rooms in a home, especially where a Ducted System is not practical. Each room will be accurately controlled by it's own individual 'head' or indoor unit, and cooling or heating is provided by one outdoor unit (not several).

By contrast, individual 'Split Systems' are specifically designed to air condition one particular area or room. When applied with this in mind, a Split System can be a very cost-effective method of climate control.
