Licences & Qualifications

REFRESH (Qld) Pty Ltd holds a Building Services Authority (BSA) ‘Trade Contractors Licence’ (Licence No. 727508);

REFRESH is ‘ARCTIC’ certified by the National Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Council;

All of our electricians hold a current ‘Electrical Contractors Licence’; and,

REFRESH carries a $ 20,000,000 public liability insurance policy.

Critical Quality Procedures

The following procedures are examples of the critical steps taken by REFRESH to ensure consistent levels of installation quality.

The refrigeration pipe work of each system is fully evacuated (not just ‘purged’) using a professional ‘vacuum pump’. Only then, can the refrigerant gas be safely released into the system.

This is essential to remove air and moisture from the refrigeration circuit and will extend the equipment’s lifespan by many years. Anything less is simply bad practice!

Air being delivered via ductwork is ‘balanced’ to ensure effective temperature control in each area of the home. This balancing process is absolutely essential to achieve a premium quality performance.

Balancing the air flow is achieved by adjusting the ‘dampers’ which we fit to each section of duct. When air flows are correct, the damper settings are locked in place to maintain their position. (It is an unfortunate fact that many companies simply do not perform any serious air balancing process).

To ensure total customer satisfaction, the REFRESH ‘Quality Control Checklist’ will be completed and signed-off by our installer during the commissioning process.
