Replacement Air Conditioning Filter Media for ducted air conditioning and central heating Systems.   

If your ducted air conditioning filter is falling apart, blocking up or becoming inefficient you can simple replace the filter media. The Media is 10mm nominal thickness and the product is available in standard widths for your convenience as indicated below or you can request sizes to your specific requirements.

Sizes available

• To suit standard flat panel   650  x 650  to suit 550 x 550 grill
• To suit standard flat panel 1000 x 650 to suit 900 x 550 grill
• To suit standard flat panel 1300 x 650 to suit 1150 x 550 grill

Cleaning  – Washing the filters – Gently hose them from the clean air side then from the dirty side

Details – The intended use for this filter is basic filtration of supply and exhaust air in the air distribution system mainly in air conditioning.  Our filter media is made of synthetic, organic fibres.  The filters have a progressive structure, which means the density of the filter mat gradually increases with the depth of the material in the direction of air flow.  This prevents early surface clogging of the filter material and results in high dust holding capacity and long useful life.

Instructions for replacement for filter medium : It’s just the same as changing a fly screen, remove the cord that is inserted around the outer parameters of the filter and discard the old filter material, remember to keep the old cord. Place the new filter media over the filter frame, insure the air direction is correct, now place the cord directly above the filter and direct above the grove that is came from. Squeeze the cord and filter back into the grove all the way around the filter frame, this can be done with a spine roller available from www.refreshair.com.au
